Veneto Bar & Kitchen in South City Mall, in collaboration with former Miss India Universe Ushoshi Sengupta, hosted a Christmas party for underprivileged kids of New Light Kolkata. New Light Kolkata is a charitable project looking into the well-being of kids of the red light community of Kalighat. The project looks after their education, healthcare, nutritional support and more. Italian eatery Veneto in collaboration with Ushoshi, who is also a social activist, organised a heartwarming Christmas lunch for the kids. The event was aimed at bringing joy to the children with an afternoon all about great food like pasta, pizza, French fries and brownies, plus some festive cheer. They enjoyed Santa’s company, danced, sang, exchanged Xmas cards and made memories to cherish.

Their laughter and happiness while relishing our Italian-inspired dishes filled our hearts with joy.
