The Dalhousie Institute Winter Carnival, in association with t2, held within the club grounds on January 21, was a celebration of food, culture, and laughter, bringing together members of all ages in a joyous fusion of community spirit and winter delight. Successfully reviving the heartwarming traditions of yesteryears after a brief hiatus during the pandemic, the carnival sported a variety of stalls ranging from food to plants to jewellery; traditional DI games like Guess the Weight of the Cake and How Many Toffees in the Jar; and the presence of DJ Gurmeet Singh, who kept attendees grooving along to popular English music through the day. Essentially fostering the sense of community that has always been an integral part of the Dalhousie Institute’s cultural heritage, the Winter Carnival was an absolute delight, solidifying its place as a cherished tradition that continues to unite members across generations. t2 gets you glimpses…
