Souk Fashion and Lifestyle Exhibit, in association with t2, was a gala two-day exhibition held on December 23 and 24 at the Maple Lawn of P. C. Chandra Garden. The exhibition, designed to bring the essence of Middle Eastern markets to the people of the City of Joy, had top national fashion brands like Samant Chauhan and Khanijo, along with jewellery brands like Senco Gold and Diamonds showcase their collection. Shoppers had an array of food choices, too, from pop-up counters set up by Mavin Bakes, Sei Uno Cafe and Bistro. The experience was further enlivened on the second day with a musical performance by Abhijeet Sawant and a stand-up act by Anirban Dasgupta, which pulled in lots of crowd and cheer. Snapshots:

“Being only two editions old, Souk has garnered a reputation of being a pathbreaker in the exhibition scene in Calcutta with the Middle Eastern theme, an amazing entertainment factor and high street fashion. This year again we have raised the bar. We thank our patrons for their continued support. Looking forward to an even bigger show next year,” said organisers Junaid and Nikhat Sultana.
