My MOMents presented by t2 was a Mother’s Day contest to celebrate motherhood, where we asked our readers to send in pictures which captured special moments with their mothers to t2ONLINE by May 16. t2ONLINE received thousands of entries of beautifully captured MOMents, among which three winners were selected. The winners got a chance to bring their mothers to have a lavish lunch at Novotel Kolkata Hotel and Residences on May 21. Our gifting partner Kuumba curated special gifts for the winners to gift their mothers. Here are the snapshots of the happy moments.

“We were proud to have collaborated with t2 and strive together to create a unique social media contest that celebrates the bond between mother and child. We understand that this bond is one of the strongest and most beautiful connections in the world, and we were elated to host the guests who shared a rare special bond with their mother. Their inspiring stories of a child surprising their mother after a surgery, someone sharing dance emotions after 25 years with her mother, and an inspiring lady sharing this beautiful relationship with her mother-in-law overwhelmed us. At our hotel, starting from our state-of-the-art accommodations to our world-class amenities, we want every mother and child to feel cherished. We are thankful to t2 for having us as partners for this contest, and our goal is to create memories that will last a lifetime,” said Arjun Kaggallu, general manager of Novotel Kolkata Hotel and Residences.

Payel Roy brought her mother Sanghita Roy. Payel said, “I’m thankful to t2 for giving me such a wonderful chance to invite my mother here today and make her feel so special.” “She’s my daughter, my best friend and mother. No one else can understand me than her,” added Sanghita.

Swastik Goswami brought his mother Srabanti Goswami. Swastik shared how special he made his mother — who had undergone a major surgery — feel on Mother’s Day. “My mom had undergone a major surgery after which she was agitated. I spent the whole day with her on Mother’s Day as we also need to spend time with our mothers just like our friends,” said Swastik. “I’m very proud of my son and thank him for making me feel so special. He always spends time with me even when he is busy with work, which is very special in this generation,” added his mom.

The gifting partner of My MOMents was the motherdaughter duo Deepa Shah Chaki and Nanda Shah, owners of Kuumba — A Way of Life. They said, “We are very privileged to be a part of this beautiful event by t2. It’s wonderful to watch the special bonds of mother and children and how the children make their mothers feel so special.”

Vineeta Saraf came with her daughter Darshika and mother-in-law Uma Saraf. “I’m delighted and happy that I could bring my mother-in-law with me because even mothers-in-law are mothers. I’m very proud that I have done something so special like this for her, and thank you t2 for giving us this special opportunity. It’s a Mother’s Day return gift I’m giving to her,” said Vineeta on giving the Kuumba curated gift hamper to her mother-in-law.
