The annual alumni reunion of the La Martiniere Calcutta, in association with t2, was a gala affair this year. Held on September 13 at the Royal Calcutta Turf Club, the former students of the institution celebrated their 188th Founder’s Day as well. Martinieres from batch 1960 to the recent school-leaving batch of 2022 gathered to spend an evening together, bonding over their school memories. The organisers from amongst the alumni reflected on the long legacy of the school and the enduring bond shared by the members of the alumni. Everyone sang Vive La Martiniere, the school song, in unison. It was an occasion of unrestrained smiles, nostalgia and heart-to-heart conversations. The event, set in the gorgeous backdrop of the Victoria Memorial, was cherished by all and was concluded with a dinner buffet served by 6 Ballygunge Place. Glimpses.
