On World Music Day, Kolkata Centre for Creativity presented a musical journey with Lopamudra Mitra: An Evening of Melodies and Conversations. Conceptualised in a unique format, the event brought together Lopamudra’s soul-stirring songs and engaging conversations with the audience. Through personal anecdotes, insights, and inspirations, she delved into the innovative ideas and artistic evolution behind her music, which spanned over three decades. It was an opportunity to connect with the artiste on a deeper level and gain a unique perspective on her creative process. Lopamudra’s remarkable talent and contribution to the music industry have earned her prestigious awards and recognition. Some of her notable achievements include the Gold Disc Award by HMV for her 10th year in music. She was also honoured with the Best Singer award at the Star Jalsa Award in 2011.
