Food vloggers and restaurant owners indulge in a gastronomic delight with the MasterChef India contestant’s culinary creations

‘MasterChef India Season 7’ Top 14 contestant Dyuti ‘Energy’ Banerjee hosted a delectable cake-mixing affair in partnership with The Michigan Cafe on November 26. Noted food influencers, including Avijit Biswas, Falguni Dutta Biswas, Souvik Bhattacharya of Good Food Bro, Anindita Roy Sanyal, Sarathi Sanyal, and Sayak with Moumita Chatterjee from Tasty Food Canvas, joined culinary forces. Chef Rahul Arora and Amit Halder, the owner of Cup eBong, also graced the event among other guests

Calcutta Calorie, Dyuti’s cloud kitchen, is popular for its cakes infused with the richness of rum and port wine, complemented by a medley of exotic fruits

Attendees at the event indulged in delectable dishes personally crafted by Dyuti. Highlights included ‘luchi’ paired with ‘bacon in sada aloor torkari’, a mouthwatering ‘bhaja moshla’ chicken thin-crust pizza with Bandel cheese and a tempting cinnamon half-doughnut with Christmas chocolate ganache

Donning her MasterChef apron, Dyuti said, “This marks my inaugural cake-mixing event, a concept I’ve been eager to bring to life since the inception of my baking journey. The allure of my cakes lies in their fruitfulness and the delightful infusion of alcohol, a combination that my patrons love. Prior to launching my sales this year, I thought of uniting people for a distinctly Christmas-y celebration. Hence, this curated menu came into play.” The cakes once baked will be available at The Michigan Cafe and Calcutta Calorie
