The 11th national HR Conference, will provide an opportunity for students and industry delegates to gain valuable insights about the industry climate and important trends from HR experts before they proceed for their summer internships.

Keeping up with the pertinent trends in the business climate, the theme for the Conference is Crafting Transient Workplaces: HR Tenets on Balance, Performance and Productivity.

Some of the speakers and workshop resource experts includes Mrinal Sinha (chief human resource officer, Cars24), Madhavi Lall (MD Head -HR India, Deutsche Bank), Manu Wadhwa (chief human resource officer, Sony Pictures Networks), Saurabh Govil (president, Wipro), Sohini Dutt (regional HR director -South Asia, Reckitt) and Emmanuel David (ex- director, Tata Management Training Center).

Officials said the 11th National HR Conference is going to be a one stop platform that offers panel discussions that witness discussions among industry veterans and HR Leaders from diverse industries.

"This is an endeavour to bring together the stalwarts from academia, industry, and activism to discuss the varied aspects of the HR function in shaping the strategic arena for the organizations in future. The conference is definitely a culmination of multiple segments that intends to platform all things HR, " said a member of SAPPHIRE.

The panel discussion scheduled on the first day on February 19 is “Managing Disruptions in Workflow: Finding a Balance between Flexibility and Sustainability.”

The topic for the second panel discussion on February 20 is “The Great Resignation: Lasting Ripples on The Future of Work.”

The Great Resignation, or ‘The Big Quit’ recorded a historic number of employees leaving their jobs during the pandemic.

In India, the technology sectors are already witnessing the effects of 'The Great Resignation' with record attrition rates, and other industries are fast following suit.

The B- school officials said the panel will discuss and understand the reason behind this phenomenon in a global and Indian context.
