A delegation of the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly reached Kerala on Wednesday to study the best practices of the southern state in the local governance system.

A senior official said that this was the first such learning trip by a delegation of the Jharkhand Assembly. “Even the Speaker (Rabindra Nath Mahato) was scheduled to accompany the delegation but had to pull out at the last moment because of personal commitment,” he said.
