Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reconnected Mahatma Gandhi and Albert Einstein on a day the Sangh family toiled to portray itself as the true inheritor of the principles of the Father of the Nation.

Writing in The New York Times, Modi quoted Einstein, who was recently made the discoverer of gravity by a Union minister, and proposed “what I call the Einstein Challenge”.

Modi invited “thinkers, entrepreneurs and tech leaders to be at the forefront of spreading Gandhi’s ideas through innovation…. Let us work shoulder to shoulder to make our world prosperous and free from hate, violence and suffering.”
