The arrival of President Macron in Jaipur was marked by a warm reception from Rajasthan Governor Kalraj Mishra, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, and Union External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar. The ceremonial welcome set the tone for a series of engagements during his visit.

French President shared a candid moment at the Jaipur airport with Rajasthan CM Bhajan Lal Sharma and EAM Jaishankar on his arrival in Jaipur which captures the essence of the cordial relations shared between the leaders of the two nations.

Macron received a traditional welcome at Amber Fort, in Jaipur. Union External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar and Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari are also seen facilitating French President.

At the Amber Fort, the French president interacted and took questions from excited schoolchildren who were present to welcome him.

The French President was also welcomed with vibrant Rajasthani folk dance at Amber Fort, symbolising the spirit of unity in diversity that characterises the Indian cultural landscape.

President Macron's visit extended beyond formalities, as he engaged with local artisans during his tour of Amber Fort in Jaipur. The interaction highlighted the cultural exchange and appreciation for craftsmanship between France and India.

While Macron arrived in Jaipur in the afternoon, Modi reached at 4.30pm. PM Modi reached Jantar Mantar from Jaipur airport while Mr. Macron came to the site after visiting Amber Fort. The two leaders shook hands and hugged each-other before beginning the mega-road show as scheduled.

Macron, who is the chief guest at the Republic Day celebrations in Delhi tomorrow, was accompanied by PM Modi as they visited Jaipur’s iconic observatory.

Post visiting jantar Mantar, both the leaders have participated in a mega road-rally where people gathered in large numbers to welcome PM Modi and French President during their roadshow.

PM Modi, Macron visited Jaipur's Hawa Mahal after concluding roadshow. PM Modi was seen explaining the UPI digital payments system to French President. PM also gifted a replica of Ram Mandir to French President.
