Yami Gautam’s Article 370 earns almost thrice as much as Vidyut Jammwal's Crakk on first weekend

Yami Gautam’s political-action drama Article 370 earned almost thrice as much as Vidyut Jammwal’s actioner Crakk in the first three days of its box-office run, amassing Rs 22.8 crore against the latter’s Rs 8.8 crore nett in India, according to data-tracking website Sacnilk.

Aditya Jambhale’s Article 370, which features Yami as an intelligence officer, collected Rs 5.9 crore on its opening day and Rs 7.4 crore nett on the second day. Day 3 saw an impressive spike, with the movie raking in Rs 9.50 crore nett, bringing the total to Rs 22.8 crore nett.

Vidyut Jammwal's Crakk, also starring Arjun Rampal and Nora Fatehi, opened with Rs 4.25 crore nett. The film added Rs 2.15 crore nett on Day 2 and Rs 2.4 crore nett on Day 3.

Meanwhile, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, starring Kriti Sanon and Shahid Kapoor, continues its steady run. According to Sacnilk, the film, directed by Aradhana Sah and Amit Joshi, has accumulated Rs 73.55 crore nett in its 17 days of theatrical run. The movie revolves around the romance between robotic engineer Aryan Agnihotri and humanoid robot Sifra.
