Actress Vidya Balan has started shooting for the upcoming horror-comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, she announced on social media on Monday, sharing a behind-the-scenes video featuring co-stars Kartik Aaryan and Triptii Dimri.
“Super thrilled to kickstart this spooky yet hilarious journey of #BhoolBhulaiyaa3 with the super talented @kartikaaryan and @tripti_dimri , the visionary @aneesbazmee and the man who made this all possible #BhushanKumar! Can’t wait for #Diwali2024,” Vidya wrote alongside the video that also shows Anees Bazmee with a clapperboard.
The makers recently revealed that Vidya will return as Manjulika in the third instalment of the franchise. Kartik, who also appeared in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, alongside Kiara Advani and Tabu, will reportedly reprise his role as Rooh Baba in the film.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 emerged as one of the highest-grossing hits of 2022 with a collection of Rs 266.88 crore.
Helmed by Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 director Anees Bazmee and produced by Bhushan Kumar-led T-Series, the upcoming film is slated to hit the screens on November 1 on the occasion of Diwali.
Kartik’s upcoming sports drama Chandu Champion, helmed by Kabir Khan, is set to release in June.
