Vicky Kaushal as Govinda Waghmare is as good a surprise as the ending of Govinda Naam Mera, which dropped on Disney+Hotstar on December 16. The Shashank Khaitan film is Vicky’s first outing in a full-on comedy role – he plays a Bollywood background dancer with a wacky humour and a host of problems in his personal life. This performance reflects Vicky’s goofy side in real life too and we love every bit of this Govinda energy that he channels on Instagram.

For the promotions of Govinda Naam Mera, Vicky donned a purple suit with glasses and posed like the dancing emoji. He also mentioned that this picture was his favourite and we can’t help but agree.

Vicky’s style and caption game is on point. He wore a plain brown shirt with jeans, a printed jacket and neon green shoes, and captioned it: “Wagh-mare ho ladka Wagh-mare!”

A true Punjabi boy at heart, Vicky jived to Kyaa Baat Haii 2.0 and made a candid confession. “My wife begs me not to put up such videos, but I can’t help it. Hopefully one day she’ll say… “KYAA BAAT HAII!!!” he wrote. We too hope Katrina Kaif loves them as much as we do!
