Eminent filmmaker Martin Scorsese is widely known for his memorable collaborations with actors Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro, delivering major classic hits of his scintillating career. Though both of the aforementioned actors have equally contributed to his success, I think the collaboration between Scorsese-Robert De Niro is the most prolific. Martin Scorcese is a magician and he weaves magic with both Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro. Shutter Island (2010), is an unsettling movie that leaves you permanently spooked while The Departed (2006) takes you down crazy labyrinths and mind-bending mazes of a crime thriller like no other. The Aviator (2004) sees DiCaprio in the role of the eccentric billionaire Howard Hughes, who having founded an empire of untold wealth, died an ignominious death. From psychological thrillers to epic autobiographical ouvres, from mind-bending crime thrillers to real-life thugs with brilliant, calculative minds, the wonderful duo has crossed all bridges of movie-making together, so to speak.

Even though his partnership with De Niro has been far from barren, one would be guilty of choosing DiCaprio over Niro for the sheer scale and dimension of their work together. DiCaprio has been nominated for several awards and has also won quite a few, thanks to Scorsese. In an award function, he openly acknowledged Scorsese as his mentor and the role he has played in his career so far. Together, they have garnered nominations for 31 Academy Awards, winning 9 of them. Not to mention an equally impressive tally of Golden Globes and BAFTA Awards.

Between the combinations, I always wait eagerly for new Scorsese-DiCaprio movies and naturally, I am now waiting impatiently to watch the pair's latest, Killers of the Flower Moon, which is the handsome actor's sixth feature film with the renowned American filmmaker. In the epic, DiCaprio essays the role of Ernest Burkhart. I am cent per cent sure that this movie is going to be yet another compelling film.
