Taylor Swift drops tracklist for upcoming album The Tortured Poets Department

Slated to release on April 19, the American singer-songwriter’s new studio album will feature 17 new songs

American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift revealed the tracklist for her upcoming album The Tortured Poets Department, slated to be released on April 19, in a social media post on Tuesday.

Sharing a monochrome picture of herself, Swift gave her fans a peek into the new album, which will feature 17 new songs including Fortnight, My Boy Only Breaks His Favourite Toys, I Can Fix Him (No Really I Can) and a bonus track titled The Manuscript.

The other songs in the album are Down Bad, So Long London, But Daddy I Love Him, Fresh Out the Summer, Florida, Guilty as Sin, Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me, Loml, I Can Do It With a Broken Heart, The Alchemy, Clara Bow and the titular track, The Tortured Poets Department.

Swift’s post also revealed the names of artistes she will be collaborating with for her new album. While Fortnight will feature rapper Post Malone, Florida will see the Blank Space Singer teaming up with the rock band Florence and the Machine.

On Sunday night, Swift had disclosed the title and release date of her 11th studio album during her acceptance speech at the 66th Annual Grammy Awards, where she was honoured with a golden gramophone in the Best Pop Vocal Album category for her 2022 album Midnights.

Shortly after the live announcement on stage, Swift shared the news about her brand new album on her social media.

“All’s fair in love and poetry... New album The Tortured Poets Department. Out April 19,” wrote the Lover singer alongside an Instagram carousel featuring the cover of her upcoming album and a short verse.

Meanwhile, Swift’s Eras Tour has been extended till November this year and will encompass new locations across the US and Canada.
