In the second album cover, the Lover singer teased a snippet from the lyrics of the song The Black Dog. “Old habits die screaming,” reads the line written alongside a tracklist of songs from the album.

Previously, the singer had announced two new editions of her album — The Bolter and The Albatross — both named after two bonus tracks.

Taylor’s album will feature 17 new songs including Fortnight, My Boy Only Breaks His Favourite Toys, But Daddy I Love Him, I Can Fix Him (No Really I Can), a titular track, and a bonus track titled The Manuscript.

The other songs in the album are Down Bad, So Long London, Fresh Out The Slammer, Florida!!!, Guilty as Sin, Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me, Loml, I Can Do It With a Broken Heart, The Alchemy and Clara Bow.

While Fortnight will feature rapper Post Malone, Florida will see Taylor joining hands with the rock band Florence and the Machine.

The Blank Space singer had previously announced the release of her new album in her acceptance speech at the 66th Grammy Awards after receiving the golden gramophone for best pop vocal album for Midnights this year.

Shortly after the live announcement on stage, Swift took to Instagram and shared the cover of the album. “All’s fair in love and poetry... New album THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT. Out April 19 🤍,” she captioned her post.

Taylor, whose The Eras Tour has been extended till November this year with new locations across the US and Canada, recently released a concert film directed by Sam Wrench. She also emerged as The Artist of the Year at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards last year.

The Black Dog edition of Taylor’s new album is available to pre-order on her official website. The album is slated to release on April 19.
