Brothers Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol get candid about their recent box office success, family, and important career decisions in the Episode 2 promo of Karan Johar-hosted celebrity chat show Koffee With Karan Season 8, dropped by streaming platform Disney+ Hotstar on Monday.

The one-minute-ten-second-long promo for the episode starts with Karan offering a standing ovation to the Deol brothers. Bobby sports an ornate, blue, gold and white shirt, while Sunny looks cool in a beige casual suit.

The conversation kicks off with Karan addressing Sunny, in interviews, frequently mentioning the “organic collections” of his recently released film Gadar 2. Sunny admits that several films inflate the box office collection numbers. Karan asks him if that is the reason why the sequel’s tagline was “Hindustan ka asli blockbuster”, to which the Gadar star responds with a hearty laugh.

Bobby, in the promo, shares that Salman Khan had hitched onto Sunny’s stardom for momentum when his films weren’t doing well. To which Bobby requested if he could leverage the Tiger star’s fame for his career this time around.

The conversation takes a lighter turn with the trio talking about Dharmendra’s on-screen kiss with Shabana Azmi in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. The brothers joked about how their father could do whatever he liked and get away with it.

Karan shows the playful side of brothers and even reveals how the teddy bear-loving Border action-hero has a softer side.
