Actor Sidharth Malhotra has heaped praises on his wife Kiara Advani for her performance in the recently released film SatyaPrem Ki Katha and described the Kartik Aaryan-starrer as a love story with a “relevant social message”.
The Mission Majnu actor, who attended the film's screening with several other celebrities, shared his review via an Instagram story on Thursday.
"A love story with a relevant social message, filled with great performances from the entire cast but Katha you have my Heart. @kiaraaliaadvani so happy that you chose to play this character. Such an impactful and nuanced performance. Kudos to you and the entire team," he wrote alongside a photo of Kiara from the film's photoshoot.
Kiara also responded to the praise with a heartfelt, "Thank you my love."
The couple got married on February 7 this year at Jaisalmer's Suryagarh Hotel in the presence of close friends and family. Their wedding was attended by celebrities including Manish Malhotra, Karan Johar, Shahid Kapoor and Juhi Chawla.
Starring Kartik Aaryan and Kiara in the lead roles, SatyaPrem Ki Katha has garnered positive reviews since its release on Eid-Al-Adha on Thursday. Kiara's performance as Katha has garnered rave reviews for being the 'surprise element' of the Sameer Vidwans directorial.
The romantic drama, which reunites Kartik and Kiara after their 2022 hit Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, also stars Supriya Pathak Kapur, Gajraj Rao, Siddharth Randheria, Anooradha Patel, Rajpal Yadav, Nirrmite Saawaant and Shikha Talsania. SatyaPrem Ki Katha has earned Rs 9 crores net at the box office since its release.
