Mouni Roy grooves to Badshah’s rap in the music video of Showtime song Class featuring the rapper in a red ensemble and scenes from the upcoming Disney+ Hotstar series starring Emraan Hashmi and Naseeruddin Shah.

Marking the first collaboration between Badshah and Mouni, the one-minute-36-second-long video dropped on Wednesday shows the duo dancing on stage for a shoot. While Badshah sported a glittery red pantsuit, Mouni went for a glam look in a tassel mini dress paired with purple boots. During the chorus of the song, Badshah wears multi-coloured feathered wings on his back and praises Mouni for her classy look and attitude.

Soon after the chorus, Emraan Hashmi, who plays the role of an influential film producer, enters the scene and watches Badshah and Mouni’s performance. At the end of the video, we see Badshah telling Emraan that he wants to be the music composer for his next film.

Class is sung by Badshah, Nikita Gandhi and Diesby. The song is jointly composed and penned by Diesby and Badshah.

“Bollywood ka show aur bad boy ka gaana na ho? Impossible! Watch Mouni Roy and Emraan Hashmi turn up the heat in this track by Diesby x Badshah ft. Nikhita Gandhi,” Dhamatic Entertainment founder Karan Johar wrote alongside the music video on Instagram.

Created by Sumit Roy, Showtime is directed by Mihir Desai and Archit Kumar. The series will mark Disney+ Hotstar and Dharmatic Entertainment’s second collaboration after Karan’s celebrity chat show Koffee With Karan, which is currently streaming on the platform.

Showtime will premiere on Disney+ Hotstar on March 8.
