Jyotika has dropped behind-the-scenes pictures with co-stars Ajay Devgn and R. Madhavan from the sets of Shaitaan, congratulating the entire team on the box office success of the supernatural thriller which crossed the Rs 150-crore milestone globally on Wednesday.
Taking to Instagram, Jyotika shared a heartwarming montage of photos from the sets of Shaitaan. In the caption accompanying the post, she wrote, “Some films are just destinations! But Shaitaan was a journey….. A journey of happiness, memories , creativity, talent and friends for a lifetime. Thank u Devgn films, panorama studios and jio studios for making me part of this fulfilling journey. Congrats to the whole team.”
Jyotika's last appearance in a Hindi film dates back to 1998 in Priyadarshan’s Doli Saja Ke Rakhna, where she shared the screen space with Akshaye Khanna.
Directed by Vikas Bahl, Shaitaan registered a strong opening day collection of Rs 14.75 nett in India on March 8. The film went on to mint Rs 79.75 crore nett in the first week. Despite facing competition from Sidharth Malhotra’s Yodha in the second week, the supernatural thriller remained strong at the domestic box office, minting Rs 111.8 crore nett in 13 days.
Shaitaan is the second Hindi film in 2024, after Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone-starrer Fighter, to cross the Rs 150-crore mark in worldwide collections.
