Shah Rukh Khan has shared two new posters of his upcoming film Dunki — featuring Taapsee Pannu, Vikram Kochhar, Vicky Kaushal and Anil Grover — to mark the occasion of Diwali.
“Bina aisi family ke, kaise hogi Diwali aur kaisa hoga New Year?” Shah Rukh wrote alongside the posters, emphasising on togetherness and the importance of staying with one’s family through thick and thin.
He ended his note by cracking a joke about how Dunki’s world is based on togetherness. “Asli maza toh saath chalne, saath rukne, aur saath hi celebrate karne mein hai… Dunki ki poori duniya hai yeh ullu de patthe!”
In the first poster, Shah Rukh can be seen riding a scooter with Taapsee and Vikram’s Buggu pillion-riding. Anil wears a garland of notes and rides alongside the trio on a bicycle. “Apno ke saath manaye Diwali,” reads the tagline of the poster.
The second poster shows the entire cast of Dunki posing in front of a blackboard. Shah Rukh sports an orange kurta coupled with olive cargo pants, while Taapsee dons a pink-and-beige printed salwar suit. Vicky sports a yellow-and-grey chequered shirt, Vikram a green printed kurta and Anil a light yellow kurta and pants coupled with a sweater vest.
Written by Abhijat Joshi, Rajkumar Hirani and Kanika Dhillon, the Hirani-directed film is slated to arrive in cinemas this Christmas.
