From Madhuri Dixit’s vibrant performance to Sara Ali Khan’s bold display of her scars, the last two days of Lakme Fashion Week were brimming with unforgettable moments. Here’s a closer look at the Bollywood actresses who dazzled on the runway at the Jio World Convention Centre in Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), Mumbai on Saturday and Sunday.

Ananya Panday turned showstopper for couturier Rahul Mishra during the event’s grand finale. Ananya had previously joined forces with Mishra, turning heads in a black bodycon dress with a giant sieve, during her Paris Haute Couture Week debut in January. This time, the Kho Gaye Hum Kahan actress stunned in yet another chic monochrome ensemble. A black body-hugging dress with shimmery undertones and 3D petals and leaves accentuated her curves. Asymmetrical drop earrings and heeled knee-high leather boots complemented the outfit, while nude makeup and a tight bun kept Ananya’s look fuss free.

Madhuri Dixit stole the show as she grooved to live music and strutted down the runway in a fusion pantsuit by Ranna Gill on Day 5. Blending motifs derived from the natural world with contemporary style, the dark green ensemble featured sequined patterns of flowers and insects. A 3D blossom pinned to the blazer accentuated its elegance. Block heels, dewy makeup and minimal accessories completed Madhuri’s look.

Sara Ali Khan walked the ramp for Arvind Ampula and Sakshi Bhati on Day 4 in a shimmery white lehenga embellished with 3D floral motifs. The actress exemplified confidence as she did not flinch from flaunting the burnt marks on her stomach. Sara, who was busy promoting her latest films Murder Mubarak and Ae Watan Mere Watan, had injured herself earlier this month by spilling piping hot coffee on her midriff. However, the scar did not hold her back from turning heads at Lakme Fashion Week. The Atrangi Re actress accessorised her outfit with stone-studded danglers. Her striking eye makeup also added to the visual appeal of the ensemble.

Janhvi Kapoor, who is all set to make her Telugu cinema debut alongside Jr. NTR later this year, dazzled in a red embellished lehenga as she walked the ramp on Day 5 for luxury fashion brand Kalki. While the blouse featured a draped boat neck and sequined borders, the drop-waist skirt was adorned with beads, crystals and sequins. A sleek bun with a low side puff in the front and smokey eyes complemented the gorgeous ensemble.

Taapsee Pannu opted for an all-black ensemble as she walked the ramp for designers Gauri and Nainika on Day 4. A mermaid cut gown with sequined borders and a dramatic cape made for a winning look. The Haseen Dillruba actress flaunted her wavy tresses, opting for bold lips and arched eyebrows.

Animal actress Triptii Dimri looked sharp in a Shantnu and Nikhil-designed black-and-silver gown on Day 4. A corset fit bodice, a belted waist and a plated bottom enhanced the elegance of the ensemble, while intricately designed mesh gloves added to its chic-vintage vibe.

Aditya Roy Kapur walked the ramp for fashion label Kalki on Day 5. The Night Manager actor was nattily dressed in a four-piece fusion sherwani suit comprising a long navy-blue blazer with broad sequined borders, a shorter sequined waistcoat, a crisp navy-blue shirt and matching trousers.

Aditi Rao Hydari walked the ramp as the showstopper for couturier Prreeti Jaiin Nainutia on Day 5. The Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar actress looked stunning in an embellished purple ensemble — a sweetheart neck blouse paired with flared trousers and a matching sequined cape. Sleek hair, nude makeup and vintage bangles complemented Aditi’s look.

Actress-model Diana Penty was part of the debut showcase for fashion label Charu and Vasundhara. Diana appeared ethereal in an embellished ivory lehenga. She paired her beaded blouse with a layered skirt featuring an argyle pattern and 3D leafy motifs. A beaded choker and an embellished tulle dupatta pinned to her left shoulder completed her look for the event.

Shehnaaz Gill killed it in a Diksha Khanna-designed blue-and-grey jumpsuit. The 31-year-old actress-model paired the zipped patchwork outfit with an oversized blue jacket featuring pleated balloon sleeves. Shehnaaz opted for heeled brown mules, a septum, sleek hair and mauve lips to complete her look for the event.
