Rashmika Mandanna dazzled in a metallic ensemble at this year’s Crunchyroll Anime Awards held at the Grand Prince Hotel Shin Takanawa in Tokyo on March 2. The Animal actress presented the Best Art Direction trophy to the popular anime series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Swordsmith Village Arc. Here’s a look at her photoshoot in Japan.

Rashmika looked stunning in an off-shoulder golden dress featuring a plunging V-neckline and a metallic design. Her middle-parted bob paired with dewy makeup completed her look.

“Japan was a place I’ve dreamt of going to for years.. since childhood never thought it would ever be possible.. let alone be a part of an award show giving an award to one of the creators of and in the anime world,” Rashmika wrote in the caption on Instagram, adding that her dream finally came true.

The 27-year-old thanked her fans in Japan for their warm welcome and love. “The food, the weather, the place is so clean, such lovely people.. It’s amazing! Thank you Japan! Really! I love you! Truly,” she further wrote, mentioning that she will visit the country every year from now on.

“As a big fan of anime, I see a lot of similarities with the movies back home. It’s why anime is huge all over India. It has the same rich pageantry, heart and has a visually stunning feast for the eyes,” Rashmika said at the awards ceremony before announcing the winner.

The Swordsmith Village Arc of Demon Slayer, directed by Haruo Sotozaki, was nominated alongside anime series Chainsaw Man, Hell's Paradise, Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2, Oshi No Ko, and Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead in the Best Art Direction category.
