Priyanka Chopra Jonas attended the roka ceremony of her younger brother Siddharth Chopra and his fiancee Neelam Upadhyaya on Tuesday. The actress was accompanied by her husband Nick Jonas and daughter Malti. Priyanka’s mother Madhu Akhouri Chopra and cousin Mannara Chopra were also present at the ceremony. Siddharth, a film producer by profession, looked dapper in a pastel sherwani suit with leafy motifs. Neelam, who is an actress, dazzled in a sequined purple salwar suit. The 30-year-old made her acting debut with the Telugu film Mr. 7 in 2012. She later appeared in the first 3D Telugu film Action 3D (2013) and Om Shanthi Om (2015) opposite Srikanth.
While Priyanka opted for a red sari on the occasion, Nick was nattily dressed in a shimmery Nehru jacket worn over a white kurta and matching pajamas.
Priyanka’s daughter Malti attended the ceremony in a red ensemble. A candid shot captured an endearing moment between the two-year-old and her would-be aunt.
Sharing pictures from the celebration on her Instagram stories, the Citadel actress wrote, “Congratulations @siddharthchopra89 and @neelamupadhyaya. All love and blessings. #rokafied.”
Later, Priyanka and Nick posed for a family portrait with the couple. Bigg Boss 17 runner up Mannara looked gorgeous in an embellished mint green lehenga.
