Prabhas-starrer Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire and Shah Rukh Khan's Dunki registered their lowest single-day collection at the box office on Wednesday, earning Rs 5.25 crore and Rs 3.30 crore, respectively, according to trade reports.

Salaar, directed by Prashanth Neel, is inching towards the Rs 400-crore mark in India. As per industry tracker Sacnilk, the film — starring Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran and Shruti Haasan — has already amassed Rs 373 crore in India. The movie has managed to mint over Rs 650 crore globally since its December 22 release.

Meanwhile, Shah Rukh's Dunki, which experienced a notable decline on its 14th day, has earned Rs 203.92 crore nett at the domestic box office so far. The film hit theatres on December 21.

According to Red Chillies Entertainment, the producers of the comedy drama helmed by Rajkumar Hirani, Dunki has amassed Rs 409 crore gross worldwide so far.

The success of Salaar comes as a respite for Prabhas, who had faced a massive setback after Adipurush bombed at the box office in 2023. Meanwhile, Dunki is Shah Rukh’s third release of the year. While his previous films Jawan and Pathaan were blockbusters, Dunki has not been able to match-up to them in terms of box office performance.
