Odela 2 first look dropped on Shivratri: Tamannaah Bhatia plays devotee of Shiva in Ashok Teja’s supernatural thriller

Helmed by Ashok Teja, the upcoming supernatural thriller also stars Hebah Patel and Vasishta N Simha

Tamannaah Bhatia traverses the ghats of Banaras as a devotee of Shiva in the first-look poster of Ashok Teja’s upcoming supernatural thriller sequel Odela 2.

#FirstlookOdela2 I am glad to be revealing the first look on this auspicious day of Maha Shivaratri Har Har Mahadev! Happy Maha Shivaratri ,” the actress wrote on Instagram after sharing the poster on the occasion of Shivratri on March 8.

Last seen in the Disney+ Hotstar thriller series Aakhri Sach, Tamannaah has been introduced as Shiva Shakti in the new poster. Clad in a red-and-yellow ensemble with saffron smeared across her forehead, the actress holds a damru on the one hand and a staff on the other.

Set in a village backdrop, Odela 2 also stars Hebah Patel and Vasishta N Simha. Created by Sampath Nandi and produced by D. Madhu, Odela 2 is a sequel to the 2022 film Odela Railway Station.

Tamannaah Bhatia will be next seen in Amar Kaushik-directed movie Stree 2, a sequel to 2008’ Stree alongside Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishekh Banerjee and Aparshakti Khurana. It is scheduled to release on August 30.

The 34-year-old actress will also be seen in Prashanth Varma’s That is Mahalkshmi, Andal Ramesh’s Kaathu Karuppu, Sundar C’s Aranmanai 4 and S Karunakaran’s Yen Endru Kadhal Enben. She has also joined the cast of Nikkhil Advani’s upcoming directorial Vedaa alongside Sharvari Wagh, John Abraham and Abhishek Banerjee.
