Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler’s goofy crime-solving couple — the Spitzes — will be back on Netflix on March 31. The trailer of Murder Mystery 2 offers a high dose of humour and action but not before throwing in a big fat Indian wedding into the mix.

Directed by debutant Jeremy Garelick, the Netflix comedy has an ensemble cast that includes Adeel Akhtar, Kuhoo Verma, Mélanie Laurent, John Kani, Tony Goldwyn, Jodie Turner-Smith, Dany Boon and Mark Strong. Just like the first instalment of the franchise, James Vanderbilt has penned the screenplay of the sequel.

In the two-minute-38-second-long trailer, we see Nick (Sandler) and Audrey (Aniston) crashing a van into a small cafe in Paris. Then Nick gets a phone call from their friend Maharaja (Akhtar), who invites them to his wedding on a private island. On the island, they meet again Colonel Ulenga (Kani) and witness a grand Indian wedding rolling in with Bollywood dance numbers. However, amid the chaos of the ceremony, Maharaja gets kidnapped. The Spitzes try to solve the mystery but are halted by the arrival of a group of ‘real detectives’ led by Mark Strong's character. The kidnappers ask for USD 50 million to be delivered to Paris. The clip ends with some highlights of the proceedings with a heavy dose of humour.
