Led by Manoj Bajpayee and Konkona Sensharma, Killer Soup is currently making waves across countries, trending among the top 10 most-viewed titles on Netflix. Here are some behind-the-scenes moments from the making of the dark comedy thriller series.
The eight-episode series, helmed by Abhishek Chaubey, marks the first on-screen collaboration between Manoj Bajpayee and Konkona Sensharma.
Konkona plays home cook Swati Shetty, the central character in Killer Soup.
Manoj’s character Umesh Pillai shares a remarkable resemblance to Swati's husband Prabhakar (also played by Manoj).
Umesh (Manoj), along with Swathi (Konkona), devises a plan to eliminate Prabhakar and replace him.
Vaishali Bisht (left) plays Khansama in the series, a cooking expert who shares tips for making paya soup with Konkona’s Swathi, so that the latter can impress her husband Prabhakar (Manoj, right).
Apart from starring in Killer Soup, Konkona was one of the directors who directed one of the four short films in the 2023 Netflix anthology drama Lust Stories 2.
