Actress Mrunal Thakur will pair up with Telugu star Vijay Deverakonda for a new project and the duo were recently seen together at the mahurat of the yet-to-be-titled film.
The shoot for the film, whose plot has been kept under wraps, will begin shortly. The film is being helmed by Parasuram Petla and produced by Sri Venkateswara Creations.
Since her major South debut with Sita Ramam, Mrunal has managed to collaborate with some of the biggest names from the South, including Dulquer Salmaan and Nani. She is currently filming for Nani 30.
Vijay, on the other hand, is currently shooting for Kushi, written and directed by Shiva Nirvana, with Samantha Rao Prabhu. They recently visited Turkey to shoot some song sequences for the Telugu-language romcom and shared some glimpses on social media. Apart from Kushi, the Dear Comrade actor will also be seen in VD 12, a spy drama written and directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, opposite Sreeleela.
Vijay made his Bollywood debut in 2022 with the Hindi-Telugu bilingual film Liger alongside Ananya Pandey. However, the Puri Jagannadh directorial didn’t do well at the box office.
