The awards ceremony, which is set to open the annual fan event, will be hosted by American television presenter Ryan Seacrest.

Miley shot to fame with Disney’s 2006 teen sitcom Hannah Montana which portrayed her as a teenager living a double life as a pop sensation and an ordinary girl. The series, which premiered in March 2006, garnered over 5 million viewers per episode. Hannah Montana’s success followed the release of its soundtrack in the form of five studio albums, a Billboard Hot 200 record break, the Best of Both Worlds Tour, a concert film and a theatrical film. At age 31, the Wrecking Ball singer is the youngest person to receive the Disney legend title.

Curtis, who won the Oscar for the best supporting actress last year for her role in Everything Everywhere All at Once, is known for portraying Tess Coleman in the 2003 remake of Freaky Friday opposite Lindsay Lohan and Aunt Vivian ‘Viv’ Ashe in the 2008 comedy film Beverly Hills Chihuahua.

For Disney, Cameron directed Ghosts of the Abyss, Aliens of the Deep, and the Academy Award-winning film Avatar: The Way of Water. A theme park for Avatar was established at Disney’s Animal Kingdom at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida in 2017. Disney has recently announced that three new sequels of the Avatar franchise will be released in the forthcoming years.
