Bollywood actress Manisha Koirala is enjoying her well-earned “me time” in her fifties, with her ideal days revolving around pets, books, music and spiritual learnings, she said in an Instagram post on Tuesday.
The Dil Se actress, who has been a part of the film industry for over three decades, posted three pictures of herself enjoying the tranquility of her home along with a heartfelt caption that delved into her current state of mind.
“A lot of people ask me what I am doing these days... true!! but happy too for I am tasting a different flavour of life, doing only those things I love,” the Lajja actress wrote in her long caption.
Reflecting on her extensive career, she acknowledged the challenges that came with being a part of the entertainment industry. “After 30 years and 100 films, I think I have earned my me time… I work when I know I would love the process of work,” she stated.
She said her ideal days involve relaxation with her cats and dogs, immersing herself in books and music, exploring spiritual learnings, and engaging in activities like singing, dancing, nature walks, gymming, and globe-trotting.
“You see now I prefer much quieter, slower, less shocks, less drama, no more impulsive decisions but a thorough thought-out long-term thing… co-creating a peaceful, happy, healthy, wholesome life,” the Gupt actress signed off.
