Raveena later shared a video of her receiving the award from the President on her Instagram handle. "Thank you all for the love and honour. Thank you for your blessings papa, mami and mom #padmashri," she wrote in the caption.

The Mohra actress also posted several photos from the award ceremony on her Instagram page with the caption, "A day of love and celebrations #padmashri #23."

Raveena was accompanied by her husband Anil Thadani, daughter Rasha and son Ranbir at the ceremony. She also shared a photo with RRR director S.S. Rajamouli.

"Much honoured by the civilian award from the Govt of India Respect for my parents and all of my mentors from Kavitapu Seethanna garu to Kuppala Bulliswamy Naidu garu on this occasion," Keeravaani had written on Twitter on January 26, after his name was announced for Padma Shri.

The recipients of the Padma awards for the year 2023 were announced by the Government On the eve of Republic Day. On March 22, the President gave away three Padma Vibhushan, four Padma Bhushan and 47 Padma Shri awards at the first Civil Investiture Ceremony. Tabla maestro Ustad Zakir Hussain had been conferred Padma Vibhushan on that day.

Legendary singer Vani Jayaram, whose name was announced for Padma Bhushan, passed away before accepting the award.
