Veteran actresses Neetu Kapoor and Zeenat Aman open up about their crushes and connections with the Kapoor family in the teaser of Karan Johar's celebrity chat show Koffee with Karan Season 8's upcoming episode, dropped by the makers on Monday.
The video begins with Neetu introducing Zeenat as “style aur sexiness ki dukaan (filled with style and sexiness),” while the latter referred to her Yaadon Ki Baaraat co-star as a lovely and vivacious person.
The two veteran actresses reminisced about the films they did together — The Great Gambler ((1979), Yaadon Ki Baaraat (1973) and Dharamveer (1977). However, when Neetu recalled their 1978 action-comedy film Heeralaal Pannalal, Zeenat cringed and exclaimed, “Oh, God”.
When Karan asked Zeenat about the wildest thing she did in the 1970s, the latter said that she did not attend parties like other people but when “the flood gates burst, they really did”. This prompted the host to ask whether she meant to imply the men who entered her life. However, Zeenat chose to keep quiet and replied, “No comment”.
Meanwhile, Neetu showcased her talent by mimicking Zeenat from a time when the latter visited a temple with her. The trio broke into a laughter after Neetu presented an accurate imitation of the veteran actress.
Karan asks Zeenat, “Someone sends you a box with a note saying, ‘Zeenu, the ball is in your court.’ Can you reveal the name of the ball?” The Don actress instantly pointed at Neetu and quipped, “Someone from their family,” hinting at a former relationship with a member of the Kapoor family.
At the end of the video, Karan throws a question at Neetu, asking her if she had a crush on any Bollywood heartthrob in the 1970s. “Shashi Kapoor,” she replied, confusing Karan who asked again, “So, you had a crush on your uncle?”

The 12th episode of Koffee With Karan, featuring Zeenat and Neetu, will stream on Disney+ Hotstar on January 11.
