Ayushmann Khurrana becomes everyone’s dream girl in his Pooja avatar as he decks up as a woman to deceive men and coax them into giving him money in the trailer of Dream Girl 2.
The three-minute-11-second-long trailer, unveiled by Balaji Motion Pictures on Tuesday late night, shows Ayushmann’s Karam talking to a credit card salesman on the phone in the voice of a woman. We soon get to know about the hefty debt situation created by his father (Annu Kapoor). The clip then shows Karam’s love interest played by Ananya Panday and introduces Ayushmann decked up as a glamorous woman named Pooja.
We see several men falling for Pooja with Ayushmann ready to exploit them for their money to solve his loan situation and satisfy Ananya’s father. However, things get even more complicated when Ayushmann’s Pooja has to marry Shah Rukh Khan (Abhishek Banerjee) for money.

Dream Girl 2 is the spiritual sequel to 2019’s Dream Girl in which Ayushmann was a call centre employee who talks to callers in a female voice, pretending to be Pooja.
Directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, Dream Girl 2 also features Paresh Rawal, Asrani, Annu Kapoor, Abhishek Banerjee, Manjot Singh, Rajpal Yadav, Manoj Joshi, Seema Pahwa and Vijay Raaz.
Dream Girl 2 is all set to arrive in theatres on August 25.
