BTS member Jungkook has made a return to Instagram months after deactivating his account. But this time, the K-pop singer-songwriter’s identity on the new account is that of his pet dog Bam’s dad.

The account, which has Jungkook’s picture with his pet doberman Bam as the profile display photo, has garnered over four million followers in only two days, with several fans of the Korean pop sensation including many from India following the account.

Jungkook deactivated his old Instagram account last year. The new account was created on April 14.

"I can't brag about anything right now so I'm going to brag about my baby. Have a fun 'night' from now on, @bowwow_bam," the 3D singer announced on his Weverse handle recently.

The bio of the new account reads “Bam's dad. Have a good BAM”. It is believed that Jungkook himself is managing the account. From basking in the sun, taking a shower to playing with his human friends, the account has already shared seven posts about the different activities of the canine.

Jungkook was the last member of BTS to resume his mandatory military service along with fellow bandmate Jimin on December 12, 2023. The band is likely to make its return in 2025 following the completion of Jungkook and Jimin’s mandatory military service.
