Filmmaker Ayan Mukerji has given a glimpse into the early concept artwork for Dev’s character from Brahmastra Part Two: Dev on the first anniversary of Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt-starrer Brahmastra Part One: Shiva.
Taking to Instagram on Saturday, Ayan shared an animated early concept artwork for the sequel to his 2022 fantasy film, which also featured Amitabh Bachchan and Mouni Roy.
In the video, we see Dev engaged in a battle. It appears that the character of Amrita, who wields the Jalastra, is about to attack Dev. Both the characters were teased in the first film without revealing the faces of the actors who would be portraying them.
“BRAHMĀSTRA - PART TWO: DEV Early Concept Art Work 💥 Has been a few months of working steadily on the Vision and Story for Brahmāstra 2 & 3! On this special day for Team Brahmāstra, felt like sharing a few key images of our Inspiration 🕉️💥,” Ayan captioned the video.
The filmmaker had previously announced that the second and third parts of his fantasy-adventure trilogy will be released in December 2026 and December 2027, respectively.
