Actress Avneet Kaur, who made her Bollywood debut with the recently released film Tiku Weds Sheru, has said that she learnt dedication, passion and being in the moment from her co-star Nawazuddin Siddiqui.

“The seriousness and dedication that Nawaz sir has for his work is commendable,” the 21-year-old, who started off as a child artist with the 2012 TV serial Meri Maa, said in a statement..

“It is extremely important for us actors to be on and off. When an actor is on screen, they are on screen, you can't let anything affect you at that point. He (Nawazuddin) is so serious, passionate and dedicated about his work, that he is there in the moment. He gives his 100%. That's something that I have learnt from Nawaz sir, and something I'll carry ahead with me in my journey as an actor, no matter how many projects I do,” added Avneet, a popular figure on social media with over 32.9 million followers on Instagram.

Romantic comedy Tiku Weds Sheru is the maiden production of Kangana Ranaut’s production house, Manikarnika Films Production. Starring Nawazuddin and Avneet as a starry-eyed couple who want to make it big in Bollywood, the film centers around the journey of the couple through the highs and lows of all the worldly chaos and challenges.

Directed by Sai Kabir Srivastva, the film was released on Prime Video on June 23.
