Karan Johar’s romance-drama Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt, is now available to stream on Amazon Prime Video, the streamer announced on Friday.
“Love is here to take over in its most dramatic form! 💗💅#RRKPKonPrime, watch now,” the streamer wrote on X (formerly Twitter) alongside a poster of the film.
Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, which released in theatres on July 28, revolves around the love story between the flamboyant Punjabi guy Rocky and Bengali journalist Rani.
Tota Roy Choudhury, who played the role of Rani’s father in the film, also took to social media and announced the OTT release. “Their prem kahaani will stream on @primevideoin from midnight tonight,” his caption reads.
Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani has been lauded by critics and viewers for its attempt at breaking down stereotypical gender-roles. Produced by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta and Hiroo Johar, the film also stars Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi.
