The Instagram bio of Medha Shankr – the breakout actress of the sleeper hit 12th Fail — says, ‘Authenticity is power’, and she surely radiates that. Before being cast in Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s film, Medha was a part of Gurinder Chadha’s British TV series Beecham House. She also did smaller roles in the film Shaadisthan and the series Dil Bekaraar.
Not many know that the Noida girl is also a trained classical singer and holds a master’s degree from NIFT, Delhi. In 12th Fail, which is streaming on Disney+Hotstar, Medha shone as a simple girl-next-door. We pored over her Instagram feed to catch Medha in her many moods.
