Today, 3 May 2023, the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will shut the application window for the Combined Graduate Level Examination 2023 (SSC CGL 2023). Candidates must register on the official website, ssc.nic.in, in order to take the SSC CGL exam 2023, which is scheduled for July. However, candidates are still protesting the SSC CGL age reckoning issue.

The registration period for the July session began by the commission on 3 April 2023 with the release of the SSC CGL announcement 2023.

The age restriction will be applied to various positions beginning of 1 August 2023, rather than 1 January 2023, in accordance with the eligibility requirements. However, a number of candidates have argued that the age cut-off date should be changed because they no longer meet the commission's current eligibility requirements.
