More than 1 lakh students, mostly from Bikaner district of Rajasthan, attended an online career counselling workshop conducted by the National Institute of Career Services (NICS) recently to bridge the industry-academia gap and spread awareness about various choices available to students under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.

The workshop, titled ‘Pramarsh 2022’, was inaugurated by Minister of State for culture & parliamentary affairs Arjun Ram Meghwal on February 15.

Addressing the students, Meghwal said, “The ongoing technological changes and digital transformation have lead to the need for changing the pedagogy and learning methodology for students. The present fourth industrial revolution era has brought out new dimensions to the career opportunities across the sector.”
