The Telangana State’s Department of School Education has decided to extend the registration deadline for the Telangana State Teacher Eligibility Test (TS TET) 2024. Previously, the last date was announced to be April 10, which has now been extended to April 20, 2024. Candidates who have not yet submitted their application can do so through the official website - tstet2024.aptonline.in.
“Candidates who desire to appear for TS TET-2024 as per notification dated 22-03-2024 are hereby informed that the last date of submission of online application is extended up to 20.04.2024 with Edit option from 11th April to 20th April 2024’, the official website highlighted.
It is to be noted by the candidates that incomplete or incorrect applications will be rejected. So they are advised to fill in the form with accurate details. However, an edit option facility will be available to the candidates for correction of data in their application form.
Examination Fee
Candidates applying for only one paper (paper I/paper II) will have to pay an amount of ₹1000 as the examination fee, whereas, the fee for both the papers (paper I and paper II) is ₹2000.
According to the official TS TET 2024 schedule, the exam will be conducted from May 20 to June 3, 2024, in two shifts (9 AM to 11.30 AM for paper I and 2 PM to 4.30 PM for paper II). Paper I will be for candidates who intend to be a teacher for classes 1 to 5, whereas, paper II prepares candidates for teaching classes 6 to 8.
