Eligibility criteria

Postgraduates admitted to SRIHER through NEET can apply for the PhD programme at IIT Madras after the second year.

  • Candidates admitted to the PhD programme will receive joint guidance from faculty members at IIT Madras and SRIHER, Chennai.
  • The programme structure allows candidates to continue their research as part-time students at IIT Madras and Senior Residents at SRIHER until completing the PhD programme.
