The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras is expected to issue the admit cards for the Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM) 2024 today, January 8. Candidates appearing for the exam can access and download their admit cards from the official website jam.iitm.ac.in.
Scheduled for Sunday, February 11, 2024, the computer-based JAM 2024 is conducted for seven papers, namely Biotechnology (BT), Chemistry (CY), Economics (EN), Geology (GG), Mathematics (MA), Mathematical Statistics (MS), and Physics (PH). The results of this examination, scheduled for March 22, will serve as a gateway for admissions into various postgraduate programs, including MSc, MSc (Tech), MSc-MTech Dual Degree, MS (Research), Joint MSc-PhD, and MSc-PhD Dual Degree courses.
Approximately 3,000 seats at IITs and over 2,000 seats at institutions like: IISc, NITs, IIEST Shibpur, SLIET, and DIAT will be filled through JAM 2024.
