The director remembered how the institution grew from 44 students to over 1000 currently. Starting with one programme, the institute has grown to include seven programmes, including two new ones, MBA BA and IPM. The students of IIM Ranchi are working towards Unnat Bharath Abhiyan, resolving water scarcity issues in tribal areas, actively helping during COVID-19, and fundraising during the hard times of Covid pandemic and we would continue to serve and work for the community in this attitude, he further said.

Seth added, “Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji had a special affection for the people and community of Jharkhand, and Jharkhand arose as a new state under his leadership. He believed in the upliftment of society’s poorest sections, and his specific theory was that progress must begin from the ground up, or else it will not be termed development.”

Union minister Munda said, “We are delighted and grateful that, under Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji’s leadership, we have witnessed what excellent government entails. We have discovered a new definition of development thanks to his vision.” He further added that good governance does not include dominating or managing others; rather, it entails governing one’s ideals, discipline, thoughts, and values and integrating these to form strong foundations on which to operate. These values and concepts contribute to future leaders who believe in serving others and building a better future.”
