A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (IIM Bangalore), and the Government of Assam to work together to run the "Chief Minister's Young Professional Programme."

The Office of Executive Education Programs at IIM Bangalore, which serves as the program's focal point, created the Chief Minister's Young Professional Program. The target audience for this programme is early-career professionals with post-graduate degrees in any field who want to work in the area.

With a scheduled academic programme lasting 40 days in Guwahati, it will be a combination of academic and district-based activity (i.e. off-campus programme).

ADVERTISEMENT

The Assam Government and IIM Bangalore will jointly hire more than 65 experts for the first batch of the CMYPP. IIM Bangalore will grant participants a certificate in public policy and management upon successful completion of the two-year programme.
