Beginning on August 1, 2023, the revised ICSI (Institute of Company Secretaries of India) syllabus for CS Professional programme registration will be in force. For students in the professional programme, the first exam under the ICSI new curriculum 2022 will take place in June 2024.

Students who registered up until July 31 will be evaluated based on the 2017 old syllabus, while those who registered on or after August 1 will be evaluated based on the 2024 new syllabus.

However, students who registered for the 2017 school year using the old syllabus will be able to request a switchover. Additionally, they will have to pay the pretest fee once more under the 2022 syllabus.

The switchover will be activated on November 21, according to the institute. The deadline for making an appearance under the 2017 syllabus is December 2024, it stated. Before signing up for the CS Main exams, students who registered under the new CS Professional curriculum 2022 were required to pass a pre-exam test, according to the statement.
