An official statement from the university further added, “Inactivity or no-action will be taken as non-acceptance to the allocated seat. It will be treated as a decline to the provisionally allocated seats and the candidate will no longer be able to participate in subsequent rounds.”

The highest possible preference will be provisionally granted to an applicant on the basis of the criteria set by the university that also includes programme merit, the category to which the candidate belongs (UR, OBC, SC, ST, or EWS) along with the availability of seats.

Once the approval from the university is completed along with the verification process the applicants will have to pay the requisite admission confirmation fee of the allocated seat of Rs 1,00,000. Applicants must hereby also note that the DU BTech admission will be confirmed only after successful payment of the admission confirmation fee.
