The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the registration process for the Central Universities Recruitment Examination 2024 (CUREC) on December 26, 2023. Candidates who have not yet applied for CUREC 2024 can complete their registration on the official NTA exams website, exams.nta.ac.in.
It must further be noted that today is also the deadline for the payment of the application fee. Candidates must submit the required fee by the end of the day. Following the registration closure, a correction window will be open from December 27 to December 28, 2023.
CUREC 2024 registration: Steps to apply
1. Visit the official NTA exams website at exams.nta.ac.in.
2. Click on the CUREC 2024 link available on the homepage.
3. Access the registration link on the new page.
4. Register by providing the necessary details.
5. Fill out the application form and make the required fee payment.
6. Click submit and download the confirmation page.
7. Retain a hard copy of the confirmation for future reference.
The selection process for CUREC 2024 includes an objective type test (Paper I), descriptive type test (Paper II), and a skill test (typing/trade/computer proficiency test). The objective type test is qualifying, and candidates must secure a minimum of 40% (UR), 35% (OBC-NCL & EWS), and 30% (SC/ST/PwBD) in Paper I. Application fees for CUREC 2024 are ₹1000/- for General (Unreserved)/OBC/EWS category candidates and ₹600/- for SC/ST/Transgender/PwBD/Women candidates.
